Here are the settings I use. I actually found them a while back on aqua-soft, and I managed to track down the thread I found the settings on: [link]

Anyhow, here are the settings I use. They tone down the font rendering boldness so that your fonts aren't "over-rendered" any more :D

Enjoy, and props to Ojalord on aquasoft for the original settings!

Just paste the following into gdi++.ini in your gdi++ folder. If the file doesnt already exist, just create a text file, paste the same info into the text file, and rename it to gdi++.ini

Cheers!

I was trying to figure out which kind of gdi++ program to use with x64 systems and found that ezgdi was the best (so far anyway). I just copied your settings and commented out the ones exclusive to ezgdi. I friggin' love it.

So glad you have the journal post, because I always refer to it when I get a new computer.

It's a font smoothing program that makes Windows fonts render more smoothly (looks similar to OSX font rendering). Unfortunately, it only works for 32-bit programs, so running it in Vista or Win7 64bit won't make much of a difference (except in 32-bit apps, like a 32-bit version of Firefox). Read more about it here: [link]

Interesting. I tried it and found it strained my eyes, but it's a cool program nonetheless. Thanks!

make sure you paste over everything in your .ini. i had problems with these settings being recognized otherwise.
