I took a bit of a step away from my traditional style with this one. A lot of the effects lie on hacks & tricks (for instance, the loupe & video background), instead of functionality (which I usually like). I think this is one of the few setups I made just to take a shot of, not really to use all the time (for that, I have
amana2).
Like last year, the video is done in litestep (lawl). The actual dwm thumbnail has square edges, but you can hack it to look round if you know what your background and video frame are going to look like
. The image in the video is from
behance, but I made it into a video with some music in the background, so I guess it counts as a video
The panel in the top-right just has some shortcuts to social sites I visit. Clicking on the little CD icon in the bottom-right opens up CAD.
