I think it's called metroUI (hide the menubar with hidemenubar extension and use small buttons)

Let me know what system you are on, and how much experience you have with litestep, and I will try to do my best to help! This theme isn't recommended for beginners, since it can get buggy and requires using a many different skinning programs to work correctly.

I think this should work:
!PopupFolder:"[DIRECTORY OF FOLDER]"

So for desktop (Win7):
!PopupFolder:"C:\Users\Sang\Desktop\"

You can also do specific files/types only (example is for .html files only):
!PopupFolder:"C:\Users\Sang\Desktop\*.html"

Is that a Firefox in there with this? I mean I know it's not in files that I can download, what I mean is... is that what I'm seeing in the screen shot above? This is one of the few Litestep themes, that actually work on my computer. The others cause errors when trying to download the necessary files, and well... this one doesn't cause the error but it can't download it either and I don't really know why. After the name of the file it says -74, I don't know what it is but my guess is it's a file associated with Windows 7 features, and I'm on Windows XP... that might be why I have trouble running any theme, since now most people use Windows 7, maybe Litestep was re-suited for it. I don't really know for sure. But it does bother me. I wish I could get one of these to work correctly, without having to get a file that I apparently can't get. There is only currently 2 or 3 themes available that will work correctly. Sometimes on others, I can't right click anything, and for some reason all themes disable my alt + tab feature on my keyboard. I would be playing a game, and can't alt + tab out to the desktop, at all...

Nope - the firefox theme is called metro (should be available as a firefox add-on). I also use the hidemenubar extension to hide the menu items (File, Edit, etc).

The -74 most likely refers to the jDesk module (it's a module whose job is to emulate the Windows desktop). I'm not sure what's wrong because litestep should work correctly with XP (it has some big issues with Win7). Try downloading the jdesk module manually from [link] and put in the modules folder of your litestep installation directory. See if that helps.

Now it's asking for jdesk-075.dll... you gave me the jdesk-074 one, but oddly now it wants to install the 075 one, but I can't get it to do it on it's own...

Hmm. Ok. If you go to your litestep themes folder, there should be a folder titled "Lemonade".

Drag and drop this file: [link] into that folder and when it asks if you want to overwrite the file, select yes.

Hopefully it will work for you then :)

Thanks, that worked, the theme works good. The only thing I wanna do now is ask you if something is possible.

I use Pandora Desktop Client as my music program, how would I make the album art, artist name, song title and album title or any of those show up in the skin you created for a music player? I can make Pandora Desktop Client only show up in the taskbar in the side, instead of where open programs and files usually sit, so it will seem like I'm using something else.

Hmm I'm not sure about pandora. As far as I can tell, the albumart module that I used (the one that fetches the album art from the folder) only works with winamp and foobar2k - unfortunately, I don't think it will work with Pandora.

As far as having pandora only show up in the taskbar - I'm not sure what you mean by this (I don't use the desktop client, so I'm a bit confused by all this haha). I think there should be an option within the pandora client to have it only show up in the system tray in the top-left (I think that's what you're talking about).

Oh okay... I hope somebody somehow makes it possible eventually. If you ever make any more Litestep themes, could you try to make it happen?

Yeah, I was talking about that, and I was saying that I can do that. I wasn't asking how to do it.

Okay, I did that... but for some reason I can't access anything... I right click, nothing happens... I can access the tasks that are already open, but I can't open any other tasks... because it just doesn't work. I don't know why... this is so weird. I don't know what to do, I can't do anything, I can't even disable it, or uninstall... because I can't access anything that isn't already open...

Is there a way to make the mail feature set up to open Gmail from my default browser instead of a mail client? I don't use Mail clients because I don't need them. I have access to my email via computer (web browser) and phone (BlackBerry).

There should be a folder called config in the theme dir with a whole bunch of files (taskbar.rc etc). Each one of these draws and controls one (or more) of the elements in the theme. To change the font, open the .rc file for the module whose font you want to change and change the "moduleNameFont Arial" (or something like that) to the font of your choice.

Recycle the theme and you should see your changes!

MangoSango, I really love this work. You can check out my current 'mock up' of this here: Link
I couldn't get the AcidMail module to work properly even with your help (maybe my ports were closed or I just didn't understand) but I really wanted to use more out of the Litestep theme so I turned it into a RecycleBin notifier.
The AlbumArt module seems to only work for foobar and winamp so I decided to discard it as I don't use either (Not too many skins for the latest updates).
Finally, I created my own Miranda skin based off your TT and Popup skin. I have 4 variations.

Thanks for the great work! I'll look forward to your future work!

Hey Mango, I'm unable to get my Gmail or Hotmail account to work on the AcidMail Module.

I've tried:

*AcidMailbox Home
HomeType imap
HomeServer imap.gmail.com
HomeUser ****@gmail.com
AcidMailTimer1

AND

*AcidMailbox Home
HomeType pop3
HomeServer pop.gmail.com
HomeUser ****@gmail.com
AcidMailTimer 1

What mail server are you using? Hotmail, Gmail, other? Thanks.

Hey - thanks for trying out Lemonade!

So there is a bit of an issue with the AcidMail module and secure email connections (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc). You have to set up a tunnel to the gmail server using a program like PuTTY and connect using that (basically, because AcidMail can't access gmail directly, PuTTY connects to the secure gmail server and relays information to another port on your computer that AcidMail can access). The author of the module says that he is working on a way to connect to gmail and other secure mailservers directly, but until then we have to use a workaround.

It's all a little complicated (there is a pseudo-guide available here: [link]).

Once you get your ports forwarded, in the AcidMail HomeServer line, you should put localhost:3110 (or maybe 127.0.0.1:3110, assuming that you forwarded your port to port 3110) instead of pop.gmail.com. It should work as long as putty is running in the background :).

Your code might look something like this:

*AcidMailbox Home
HomeType pop3
HomeServer localhost:3110
HomeUser ****@gmail.com
AcidMailTimer 1

In case you want to know what is going on under the hood, the basic idea is somewhat simple: Putty accesses your mail server and forwards it to a port on your computer (for exmaple, port 3110). Once putty is forwarding your mail to port 3110, accessing port 3110 will be pretty much identical to accessing your mail server. This has a bit of a security risk, because you're opening a port on your computer to possible attack. If I remember correctly though, your e-mail will still be encrypted because the actual tunnel from your computer to gmail is secure (but the local port itself isn't).

I'm sorry if this is all a bit confusing, but there's not much else we can do until the module gets updated. Hope this helps some!

:( Do you have a screenshot of how it looks right now? If you want, I can definitely help you get it to look like this, and a simple screen of your current FF window would be really helpful :) (I'm still a newb at customizing firefox so my firefox custo is not too complicated).

And now I feel like a tool. I didn't even know about True Transparency.. my god. I downloaded your skin for it and now it looks pretty much like yours. Though I do have the tabs still there and don't know how to hide them. What do you use? Also what shortcuts do you use please? And ONE more thing.. when maximized, it doesn't fill the whole screen, or is that just mine?

Okay.. I have it the way you do now. Sorry for all these messages and then finding out for myself. Though I still have a few questions - 1. What keyboard shortcuts do you use with so many things hidden? 2. When maximized, it doesn't fill the whole screen, right? 3. Is there any easy way to use litestep? I haven't tried Litestep since I tried it on my PC and would still like a few features that you even have in some of your other deviations. But I don't know how easy it is to navigate through my things etc. afterwards..

Yeah, the toolbar is completely transparent because of the way that TT works. You can get rid of the toolbar with StyleBuilder (as outlined in the journal post) or use a program like qttabbar to style the toolbar. Thanks for trying the skin out!
